1. Actually, this does not appear to be aiyhtnng to scream about. I mean, why should it worry you that your mother might want to participate in something you like? And why would you regard it as a threat?It’s a class, after all, and your mom would be participating as a student, not as a judge or critic. (Yes, the students judge each other, but that essentially puts you and your mother on equal terms.)Besides, you never know: she may actually be good at this. Her age group is the same as the people who did SCTV, and they started out in improv.
